About Avi Chaudhuri
Holding a masters of science in neurophysiology from the University of Toronto and a doctorate in neuroscience from the University of California, Berkeley, Avijit (Avi) Chaudhuri presently works as a senior director with Kezzler AS, a Norwegian company that strives to eliminate the use of counterfeit pharmaceuticals around the world through secure supply chain management. Before joining Kezzler in 2009, Avi Chaudhuri taught for 15 years in the Department of Psychology at Montreal’s McGill University, the last seven of which he served as a James McGill Professor.
A prolific researcher, Avi Chaudhuri has published in such esteemed peer-reviewed journals as Nature, The Journal of Neuroscience, Brain, Neurology, and Current Biology. Avi Chaudhuri received the Alfred P. Sloan Research Fellowship and Medical Research Council of Canada Scholarship after joining McGill. From 2000 to 2009, Dr. Chaudhuri served as an associate with the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research.
Beyond his work with Kezzler in stopping counterfeit drugs from entering the global supply chain, Avi Chaudhuri aids the country of his birth through The Purnima Foundation, a nonprofit organization that seeks to remedy some of the problems afflicting rural India.
